This position is fully Remote
The Sr IT Systems Analyst within HRIT serves as the IT service analyst between HRIT and the Human Resources department. The IT Systems Analyst works closely with the business to gain a deep understanding of the business process and provide IT project support and operational application support. IT Systems Analyst interacts with business stakeholders and IT leadership to build technology roadmaps and identify opportunities to enhance existing process, leverage enterprise infrastructure or new technology to achieve business needs and alignment with organization goals.
Primary Duties:
- Provide application and project support of HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A) systems in scope for the team.
- Setup/maintain plant-specific accrual yearly policies.
- Setup/maintain plant-specific attendance yearly policies.
- Configure new pay rules and components as needed, due to new shifts, union requirements, or other plant-specific reasons.
- Maintain ADP eTime holiday calendars for every plant, and every pay rule.
- Troubleshoot ADP eTime system integration issues.
- Provide support for timeclock issues such as new terminals, communication issues, missing punches, or new functionality.
- Upgrade/service packs testing and implement new functionality.
- Problem solves and troubleshoots issues relating to Security Configuration.
- Prepare all documentation to enterprise architecture team for review and pass the solution design proposal (SDP) process.
- Performs configuration of systems based on defined business rules and business requirements.
- Prepares project deliverables including (but not limited to) process flows, business rules, configuration specifications, functional design specifications and testing plans.
- Manages incidents, change requests, demands within selected tools including Azure DevOps and other tools.
- Provides third-level user support to the HR community, for system questions beyond the realm of the HR teams.
- Completes tasks as assigned related to requirements analysis, functional solution design, quality assurance, and solution deployment of technology-enabled solutions to the Human Resources (HR) organization. Works proactively with IT and other internal and external colleagues to collaborate on design topics.
Requirements
- Education in Computer Science or similar, Bachelor's degree.
- At least 3 years of technical/functional experience in solution delivery and support capacity.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and document user requirements.
- Ability to work closely with external IT suppliers on project execution and operational support activities.
- Understanding / Experience with HR, Payroll and T&A systems is desired.
- Knowledge of ADP eTime or Kronos T&A system is a strong plus.
- Experience in implementation of payroll and time & attendance systems in North America is desired and strong plus.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, matrix organization within a multi-national company.
- Proven ability to successfully engage and influence others outside area of control.
- Proven ability to re-engineer and improve business processes, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change.

- Thorough understanding of and proven ability to follow disciplined quality assurance processes and practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present technical matters in a simple, clear and concise manner to the targeted audience. Must be fluent in English, other languages a plus.
