Sr. Java Developer

Infosys is seeking Sr. Java Developer. As a Java developer, you will be a key player in the ADM team to carry out application support and maintenance and minor enhancements work. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

• Candidate must be located at or within commuting distance of Lincoln, NE.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 4 years of Development experience on Java.
• Lead and deliver through hyper agile scrum teams.
• Have knowledge of multiple niche / emerging technologies & languages (not limited to above requirements)Java, Java Script, SQL, Angular, Spring Boot, RESTful, Kafka, GitHub.
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and OO concepts (Java)
  Strong at Object Oriented concepts & Data Structures.
• Experience working with any RDBMS database (Postgre SQL /MySQL).
• Experience working with any Frontend frameworks (Angular / React)
  Experience with TDD practices / frameworks (JUnit (Java) / Jest (React) / Karma / Jasmine).

• Knowledge of Cloud Implementation - Azure, AWS, Kubernetes/Docker.
• Knowledge of SaaS / PaaS implementation and Operations.
• Experience in developing & deploying Microservices, Data Modelling, Database Design, Tuning Design Parameters, Normalization, Solving Performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and understanding of OO concepts and design patterns.
• Experience in Middleware, Open-Source tools & technologies Knowledge of Cloud Implementation.
