About Cognizant's Digital Engineering Practice:

At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Engineer/ Developers, Java Developer, Front end Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Java Full stack Developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the "team", drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Looking for 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Application developer.
• Strong experience developing Web based applications using Core java (java 8+), Spring frameworks and Spring Boot. Demonstrate proficiency with Open-Source Technologies: JUnit, Log4J, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Maven. Experience developing applications using JavaScript packages and Angular 2+ framework using Eclipse, IntelliJ, or any variant of Eclipse IDE.
• Database programming using SQL and No-SQL (Should have basic understanding)
• Demonstrate understanding of how to effectively manage source code with GIT
• Proven experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Full stack dev/Backend should have Microservices, Sprint boot app dev experience in private, public cloud setting but can also have some level of expertise on Front-end and scripting tools/techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have - Java, Spring, NodeJS, SQL, JAVA 8, Spring boot, microservices
• Must have - JIRA, Splunk, CI/CD tools etc.,
• Any Cloud, UI, SQL knowledge is good to have
• 6 to 14 years of overall experience
• Good communication skill (email and spoken)
• Good analysis skills and problem-solving skills
• Must be committed and be available for all the client meetings, respond to all client emails. Be complaint with the cognizant policies, and process etc.,

This is a Onsite role

Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[ 73,060- 140,410] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
