Sr Java Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing and developing the micro services or SOAP/REST web services based on business requirements. For contributing to architecture guidelines, standards and patterns.• Deep background in Core Java, Design Patterns & Integration Patterns.• Experience in working with continuous integration tools.• Ability to implement Micro-Services using Spring Boot. To manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects required. To work effectively with Customer business and project teams, management, and vendors with minimal supervision required. Ability to work as a member of a team, as well as individual contributor, required.• Exposure to a broad range of project types, including new development and enhancements. Responsible for high-level designs across the Digital and Marketing Technology domain, including: Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular best practices. Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.• Writing web or hybrid applications with AngularJS or Angular using Typescript, CSS, SCSS/SASS, and HTML. Making complex technical and design decisions for AngularJS projects. Developing application codes and unit tests in Angular and consuming the REST/GraphQL API or Web Services.• Conducting performance tests, Consulting with the design team. Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support. Discuss with customer business groups to understand functionality and come up with innovative ideas for web development for the best user experience.

Qualifications: • Full Stack developer having knowledge of Java, J2EEE, Spring Boot, Angular, React, Nodejs, AWS Cloud services, Redshift, RDS,Next.js, REST, AWS cloud Infrastructure and Products, Terraform, etc.• Design and develop Micro services for rating application using Spring Boot, Java 11+/17 and deploy it on OpenShift (Kubernetes and Docker). • Experience in designing and developing micro services using java/spring-boot and UI using Angular/Reactjs.• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology.• Expert level demonstrated experience in developing code, implementation and adopting to cloud strategy.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73K - $129K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
