Job Description

Responsible for developing and administering data security policies as well as safeguarding information, evaluating existing data security procedures and identifying new areas of risk. Also maintains and implements information security measures to the system. Has specific knowledge or expertise typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience. Uses expertise to provide guidance to others as a project manager or consultant. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Solves complex problems. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience •Implements and identifies improvements to Access Control system enhancements •Manages consulting practice with business partners for technology security topics •Maintains relationships with partners to manage effectiveness of the access security life cycle management process •Mitigates risk of conversions to partners•Manages change request data for accuracy and efficiency•Solves complex problems•Takes a new perspective on existing solutions•Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information•Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams•Works within broad guidelines and policies •College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience in the area of Information Security is preferred. Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC is preferred. •Experience working with commercial IAM products for a sizeable enterprise (preferably 5,000+ employees / external users), including development of solutions for Identity Management, user provisioning, Single-Sign & Reduced Sign On and Web Access Management solutions.•Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience;•May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements •In-depth functional/Industry Knowledge, such as IT audit, IT Risk Management and Information Security •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills •Proven understanding of web application, mainframe, network, workstation and server security configuration•In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines•Applies best practices and how own area integrates with others•Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market•Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
