Sr Manager/ Associate Director Marketing and Product Management

What you will get to do:

• Manage entire product(s) lifecycle from initial voice of customer, product concept and business case, through development, launch, product care and obsolescence. This will require a deep knowledge of the actual users and customers understanding their needs and balancing them with technology innovations.
• Embed the customer and patient journey into our design thinking and service development.
• Champion the product and rally the cross-functional team to execute on the product vision / strategy. This team includes, but is not limited to development, medical, global customer support, operations, quality and regulatory.
• Assess the market and continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, product design, service design and value proposition.
• Lead the development of marketing and communication deliverables (e.g., key messages, brochures, campaign, training manuals, etc) to support product commercialization.
• Supervise the implementation of the global marketing strategy through the affiliate companies.
• Oversee market research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the global market for a product area.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (required); Bachelor's degree in marketing or science
• Master's Degree (preferred): Business (MBA) or science (e.g., molecular biology, genomics, etc
• 5 years (Required): 5 years in marketing, sales, service & support or product management in the diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Ideally has experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, developing commercial launch plan and pre/post-launch execution.
• Proven ability to translate complex science /technology into marketing messages, creating and launching campaigns, developing and implementing sales training.
• Entrepreneurial mindset paired with the ability to guide, motivate, influence, inspire and empower people across different hierarchical levels within international & matrix program set-up.
• Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
• Consistent record of building collaborative relationships with peers and teams, helping cross-functional teams address strategic opportunities and solve problems across the organization
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with strong technical acumen
• A desire and openness to learning and continuous improvement, both of yourself and your team members
• 2 years Next generation sequencing and / or oncology preferred
