Overview
The Sr. Manager, Business Relationships is responsible for building relationships with partners and clients, developing and implementing strategies to meet business objectives, and ensuring the company's goals are met. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and has an in-depth understanding of the SGWS (Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits) business and its operations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and clients.• Use business and talent development knowledge to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the business partners and clients.• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners.• Follow a disciplined relationship development process by identifying steps/strategies to maintain and build relationships effectively. Regularly review processes and strategies with the director, making adjustments as needed.• Network within the industry/sector and participate in conferences to foster business networking.• Ensure that business partners and clients perform according to internal and external rules and regulations.• Prepare regular reports and presentations to share findings with senior management and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding learning opportunities, career development paths, and resources available through the LMS and external vendors.• Provide leadership by actively supporting accounts, attending to business partners and client complaints, and resolving issues promptly.• Educate and inform commercial and non-commercial business partners and clients about the company's talent development products and services.• Evaluate current processes to pinpoint opportunities for improved operational effectiveness and increased productivity.• Identify key contacts within different business units to establish and foster relationships.• Participate in one-on-one meetings with clients to explain services to guide their choices.• Understand the problems and challenges of clients and identify ways the business could better address those needs.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field strongly preferred.• Proven track record of success in developing and managing relationships with business partners and clients.• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer and vendor relationships.• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.• Knowledge of learning technologies and trends in the talent development field.• Proactive and results-oriented with a passion for employee growth and development.• Travel 50 %

- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device.
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
