Sr Manager ERP & Business Systems
Job Description
Position Overview:
Solid Power is seeking a Sr Manager ERP & Business Systems to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry by developing next-generation, all solidāstate rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fastāpaced, collaborative team environment. The individual must have experience designing, managing, and implementing ERP and business systems, such as SCAD, MES, HRIS, LMS, Expense & Travel Management, EDW, and BI in medium-sized and publicly traded companies.
Job Duties:
- Develop, implement, and execute the organization's global business systems technology plan and its specific roll-out throughout the Solid Power inc. business landscape.
- Directly responsible for ensuring the successful day-to-day management of the operation of ERP and related business systems and applications to ensure effective business operations.
- Lead and direct teams to analyze functional business requirements and collaborate with business leaders to implement new solutions to achieve technical specifications and budget expectations.
- Consults with senior management and key stakeholders to exchange information, present new approaches, and discuss equipment/system changes.
- Develop goals and strategies to ensure that ERP and business systems run smoothly and effectively.
- Proactively manages IT Business Systems staff and demonstrates leadership through a culture of mutual respect and mentorship.
- Fosters a work environment that encourages a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, improving operations, streamlining work operations, and providing quality customer service.
- Establish goals, performance, and accountability measures to ensure that team members meet timelines and goals, work within budgetary guidelines, and provide customer and service delivery.
- Manage business systems team headcount, associated operating expense, and capital expenditure budgets.
- Keep up with changes in the ERP and business systems technology ecosystem to improve business processes, business systems performance, and productivity.
- Participate in developing the departmentās annual budget, including but not limited to forecasting for staffing, projects, equipment, materials, and supplies.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorās Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Programing, or Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal / customer service skills.
- Ability to utilize Agile and Lean methodologies for project management and continuous improvement to eliminate waste, improve accuracy and build quality into processes and solutions.
- Minimum of 3-5 SAP implementations in relevant SAP Functional Areas (FICO, MM-PP, WM, PS, QM, PM).
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementation as a functional team lead, implementation manager, solution architect, or lead consultant.
- Preferred, but not mandatory ā experience with S/4 implementation in the SAP functional areas.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
- Strong customer orientation.

- Must be comfortable with uncertainty. Projects and assignments will change rapidly, so the candidate must be flexible enough to accommodate changing priorities and timelines.

- Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
Salary Range:Ā $123,000 - $175,000/year
