Our fraud team uses advanced systems, data and processes to manage the delicate balance between risk management, customer experience and sales, while engaging closely with various business partners inside and outside the organization.
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Fraud Strategy, someone who is innovative, uses data and metrics to influence their decisions, has a proven ability to lead and will take the ownership to build and manage best-in-class fraud prevention and detection controls across various products & functions. In this role, you will look for fraud trends, assess opportunities to add optimal controls and manage their implementation. To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable with ambiguity, analytics, prioritization, executive communication, building relationships, solving puzzles and driving results.
A successful candidate will have leadership experience as well as a strong background in fraud strategy, electronic payments and digital identity management.
The Impact You Will Make:
  • Manage fraud risk across various areas through an ideal combination of strategies, data, infrastructure, people and processes.
  • Partner with internal and external business partners to drive solving problems while balancing risk mitigation while also reducing impacts to the business and customer experience.
  • Take ownership of continuous improvements on all related metrics, while maintaining high degree of alignment and communication with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects/initiatives through business cases, documentation, prioritization and execution.
  • Manage team of analysts, including providing leadership, guidance, education and support while also supporting other internal teams.

What You Bring To The Table:
  • Bachelor's and / or Master's degree (OR related work experience) in a quantitative discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in a fraud, risk, payments, analytics or statistical role
  • Strong data and analytical skills with an ability to dive deep, summarize, and communicate important learnings from data
  • Strong understanding of fraud vectors, strategies, tools and infrastructure in a high transaction volume digital environment; Accertify experience a plus
  • Ability to balance attention to detail while summarizing for executives and business partners
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to build an effective team, while continuing to develop, coach and motivate
  • Creative problem solving and analytical skills; ability to develop/improve processes
  • Experience working cross-functionally to obtain buy-in, must be able to influence stakeholders and get other teams on-board in helping achieve your goals
  • Technical skills : Data analysis (SQL, Excel), Programming (Python or other programming language), Decision Engines, Statistical tools (Decision Trees, Regression, etc), Collaboration (Google/Microsoft office suite)
