Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, content development, and project management in a supply chain, manufacturing, or a warehouse environment.
- Retail/Wholesale distribution experience
- Ability to drive transformational initiatives within the organization
- Proven experience in a Senior Manager, HR Supply Chain role
- Supply chain process execution required
- Location- Onsite, Atlanta, GA
- Strategic, transformative, and collaborative leadership
- Experienced in various technologies such as MS Office, Workday, etc.
Job Summary
Provides expert guidance on projects across corporate and field supply chain, collaborating with operations leaders to enhance value for associates. Develops content to support supply chain and human resources strategies across a multi-platform field and corporate organization to support operations and people strategies. Serves as a change management champion, ensuring effective program and process realization, while providing thought leadership on human resources processes and associate impacts.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Serves as a network optimization champion within human resources, collaborating with human resources leadership and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure the seamless alignment of supply chain compliance, processes, policies, and best practices, fostering consistency across every facet of the supply chain.
- Identifies and proactively addresses project issues and risks, documenting key lessons learned for effective application in subsequent projects.
- Collaborates strategically with the business, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs and project outcomes.
- Facilitates the distribution of project information to key human resources stakeholders, supporting the business and Centers of Excellence (COEs) in data gathering, constructing project timelines, and devising change management plans.
- Contributes to the selection of success metrics for proof of concepts, pilots, and rollouts.
- Provides guidance in developing project plans, orchestrates productive working sessions, and leads key meetings to ensure all facets of the associate experience are considered, including compensation, talent acquisition, selection, communication, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
- Develops the creation of engaging and impactful content for supply chain operations and human resources strategies, aligning with the project's objectives and ensuring effective dissemination of information to stakeholders.
Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
- Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
