POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr Manager, Integration assists the Director, Integration with the planning, development, program management, and execution of integration and consolidation strategies for Republic Services. To ensure the successful execution of integration for all acquisitions, this leader will be responsible for tactical oversight of functional team members such as program management, human resources, finance, operations, IT and will partner with senior leadership to ensure all integration activities and outcomes meet company objectives.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership and program management for the successful integration of all acquisitions, delivering on all acquisition objectives.
- Serves as active participant in diligence of target acquisitions in order to lead the evaluation of key issues, assessing integration challenges and development of post-close plans.
- Ensures Director of Integrations is aware of critical issues/risks and then drives them to resolution with constant and consistent objectivity.
- Helps motivate and inspire junior members of the integration team that works closely with leaders to successfully plan and execute on integration milestones.
- Drives the pace of integration and maintains alignment with the deal rationale.
- Ensures and manages effective communications to all stakeholders through status meetings, steering committee reviews, and senior leadership presentations.
- Facilitates tracking and managing of key investment metrics for monitoring integration success.
- Stays current in deal and integration thought leadership and best practices to maintain cutting-edge M&A integration capabilities.
- Owns tactical deployment of integration methodology, governance decisions and progress reports for Integration team.
- Other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of end-to-end corporate development activities and demonstrated ability to facilitate complex and time sensitive decisions
- Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated capability in complex environments
- Strong business acumen with direct leadership experience in at least one managerial operation/functional role.
- Easily establishes rapport and effective relationships, while driving accountability for shared results
- Hands-on leader with experience building and leading highly effective teams
- Ability to build and sustain strong relationships at multiple levels internally and with partners; influencing areas of the business that are not under direct control will be critical.
- Experience with a rapidly scaling technology/software business is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or related field
- Project Management related certification(s) from an accredited organization
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 6 years of project management, business and/or M&A integration experience.
