Senior Manager, Marketing Communications - International

As the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, you will join a hardworking team of Marketing Communications professionals to scale the Bloom Energy business as we enter the next phase of our high-growth journey. Bloom Energy's technology empowers businesses and communities to responsibly take charge of their energy. Our energy platform has three key value propositions: resiliency, sustainability and predictability. We provide infrastructure that is flexible for the evolving net zero ecosystem. We have deployed more than 1 gigawatt of energy since our first commercial shipments in 2009, empowering data centers, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, biotechnology facilities, major retail stores, financial institutions, telecom facilities, utilities, cities with critical energy infrastructure.

The successful candidate will support and promote our international market sales and brand visibility strategy, reaching business customers, public sector stakeholders and media influencers to position Bloom Energy as a partner of choice for secure and sustainable energy. This role will report to the Director of Marketing Communications, and it will support the SVP International and the Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer in their market engagement strategies.

• Assist in evaluating and monitoring market opportunities to support our strategic growth plans,
• Develop comprehensive marketing plans to assist the business in meeting its ambitious growth goals,
• Engage in market research activities to identify customer needs, market dynamics, and incorporates internal and external stakeholder input into strategic marketing plans,
• Ensure appropriate process and resources are in place for effective and consistent branding and messaging across all external channels - events collateral, social media, press releases, and executive speaking events,
• Develop and support a visibility plan for SVP International and support messages, digital materials for stakeholder engagement,
• Partner with internal colleagues and external agency resources to execute end-to-end campaigns, including market research, messaging, events strategies, content approval processes and campaign management across paid, earned, and owned channels,
• Manage regional media and trade media requests in collaboration with the Director of Public Relations,

The successful candidate will be driven to succeed. She or he is an engaged professional with a proven track record of building and leading market entry and visibility programs, especially in the energy sector. As a member of Bloom's Communications, Marketing and Sustainability team, the candidate must have experience across traditional media, executive communications, thought leadership campaigns, as well as advising executive leadership.

This position will partner closely with Bloom's Business Development, Growth Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, and HR teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of prior experience in a brand and corporate communications role,
• Proven experience working with executives across a number of international markets,
• Excellent project management skills
• Versatile external relations skills with media, bloggers, and industry influencers, especially in a technology segment (energy is ideal)
• Experience in helping fast-paced, emerging companies navigate a variety of market situations,
• A proven track record of advancing brand communications and sustaining standards,
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, English Literature, Journalism or Communications is preferred; Master's degree is a plus,
• Ability and experience communicating to, and networking with, a wide range of internal constituents across functions and organizational levels; proven experience leading through influence in a matrix,
• Self-starter and ability to build programs from scratch,
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to roll-up their sleeves and get things done,
• Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills,

Salary Ranges:

$159,100.00 - $228,900.00
