Title: SR Manager - Partner and Integration Program
Senior Manager of Partner and Integration Program is responsible for overseeing key Hospitality business relationships and partnerships for the organization. For both product GTM and technical integration relationships, this person with their team will identify, explore and create direct sales, co-sell, resell, or referral opportunities with 3rd parties.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Partnerships and API Platforms, this person works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the Hospitality organization.
- Primary responsibilities include promoting and executing existing partnership planning and strategy, partnership progress among the product use cases for Hospitality, and forecasting of financial impact due to these partnerships.
- This role is tasked with driving our partnerships to the most optimal level, per the business and product strategy, in the shortest amount of time with the team. This is a time urgent role requiring a high-energy, driven manager.
- Furthermore, this role will manage with the team a process for responding to customer or 3rd party requests for partnerships or technical integration. As this process is operationally shared amongst Sales, Sales Engineering, the Partnerships team and the Professional Services team, this person will drive the process so every part of the organization is accountable and successful.
- This role will work closely with marketing on developing sales/marketing campaigns, as well as stakeholders in our product management, engineering, sales, support and professional services organizations.
Key Individual Responsibilities
- For key strategic customer accounts, may be involved with Product Management to assess their partnerships and our abilities/opportunities to support across the organization.
- For key partnerships, may drive and negotiate a multi-year contract.
- Provides guidance for each partner strategy for selling channels including co-sell, resell, cross-sell, or referral programs
- Work with senior management to develop region/area/ country strategy
- Defines and deploys a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
- Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement by leveraging select partnerships
- Works closely with Product Management to optimize the effectiveness of the Hospitality's overall technology investments such as technical integrations with key partner companies
- Works with the team and the VP of Partnerships and API Platforms to forecast commercial impact of partnerships
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations
Key Outcomes with Partner Team
- With team, identifies, develops, organizes, and manages partnership and business development opportunities for Hospitality.
- Works collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management as it relates to all partnerships, alliances, and business development relationships to drive successful partnerships
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates technology partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Works closely with each Product Management and engineering team to influence their roadmap and priorities.
- From time to time with Product Management team, will be required to review existing partnership solutions to determine if products enable a competitive differentiator.
- Ensures partner and 3rd party compliance with agreements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field and/or experience
- Previous partnerships/partner relations for a SaaS technology firm preferred. Demonstrated experience collaborating with customers and partners enabling them to experience greater business value from our company.
- Background in SaaS and Application Software
- Experience working in partnerships programs, including developer partnerships, resell, cross-sell, and co-sell relationships preferred
- Background or some experience in Hospitality
- Sales "DNA"- Process oriented but still knows how to sell. Ideally has carried a quota at some time in his/her career and/or managed a team of inside sales reps
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including establishing credibility and trust with partners and building influential relationships with the stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Sales Ops, HR, Support Services, Marketing and Professional Services
- High-energy personality with good communication skills is a firm requirement
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work both autonomously and as a team player
- Problem-solving disposition, with a constant desire to improve and achieve higher grounds
- Ability to analyze quantitatively, solve problems, and scope business requirements
- Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion, on time and in an expedited manner and with high energy
Physical Demands
Travel throughout the U.S. is required and is expected to be up to 15% for customer and partner visits, conference, and training. Participation in GHQ workshops, corporate events, customer meetings, and more is expected from time to time.
