What you'll be doing:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will provide business and technical leadership for major, high-complexity project/program within Clinical Nutrition business unit/ They lead teams through the identification, justification, prioritization, initiation, development, implementation and end of life processes. Focus are complex medical devices as well as solutions and containers.

Senior Program Managers lead their teams in financial analysis including market research, cash flow, capital, and program positioning. They will collaborate with marketing, legal and purchasing to develop and negotiate contracts. This person will interact with and influence senior internal and external stakeholders. Senior Program Managers will make launch date commitments to businesses and manage stakeholder expectations regarding Baxter deliverables during the program. This person will serve as a champion of product lifecycle management processes recognizing how project results impact the overall success of the organization. The Senior Program Manager will develop core team and project management capabilities across the organization.

• Leads and is Accountable for Platform Core Team (PCT) performance, program schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend
• Leads team in defining program strategies, developing goals, and orchestrating team appraisal process
• Provides clear direction on product lifecycle management requirements to meet expectations of external customers and business stakeholders
• Interacts through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders
• Ensures identification and communication of business/program risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategies
• Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes
• Maximizes business results through continuous improvement in organization's ability to execute programs from identification through implementation

What you'll bring:

• Bachelors with 10+ years of experience in Project Management or Masters with 8+ years.
• Bachelors PMP or PgMP or PfMP certification desired
• Experience in Agile way of working
• Knowledge on regulatory frameworks MDR, FDA, ICH as well on API/device materials supply chain
• Demonstrated business acumen and implementation of Business strategy and risk management for programs or portfolio.
• Experience across the total life cycle of a product/program in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Desire to work on a sustaining product portfolio
• Ability to work and communicate across a corporate matrix organization
• Proven track record in leading teams and in leading people without having a direct reporting line - ability to motivate and engage teams

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $112,000 to $216,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
