Job Summary

Papa John's is looking for a Senior Manager of Product Design & User Experience (UX) to join a growing Digital Experience team. This candidate will lead a team of product designers and will be accountable for building Papa Johns' sales and brand equity through our digital channels, including papajohns.com, mobile apps, and Aggregator partnerships. The candidate will re-imagine and advocate a design-forward, consistent, and intuitive user experience across all digital experiences. The candidate is responsible for leading digital product user research, design, wireframes, prototypes, and content management for papajohns.com, mobile apps and our supporting digital assets. The candidate will play a critical role in Papa John's digital transformation and is responsible for bringing the brand to life in the digital medium to drive sales and improve the customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

• Deliver on Papa John's overall UX strategy and vision for a world-class digital experience, ensuring that it is tightly aligned with our brand and product strategies
• Refine and implement a comprehensive design system strategy and pattern library that aligns with Papa John's Visual ID, business strategy, and customer experience visions
• Translate the strategy and vision into an actionable roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional partners
• Identify and establish a measurement plan for design system KPIs to track and continually improve design system ROI
• Understand Papa John's customer segments and represent their needs and voice in the user experience design process
• Implement a design review process including weekly review of all designs created by the UX team and outside vendors to ensure usability and achievement of business goals
• Design and lead user testing and usability research online, effectively managing internal and external resources to deliver insights and actionable results; facilitate communication and share out of results and provide recommendations to product and business stakeholders
• Foster a culture of design thinking, continuous learning, and constructive design critique
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and pain points in the design process and implement strategies to overcome them
• Refine and maintain design tools, software, and infrastructure, ensuring they are up-to-date, accessible, secure, and well-documented
• Define and facilitate stakeholder alignment on design system governance and contribution processes, roles, feedback methods, and decisioning criteria to ensure the design system delivers consistent, seamless experiences while meeting stakeholder needs
• Conduct regular design audits, reviews, and support usability testing to identify areas for improvement and maintain design system integrity
