Sr Manager Product Engineering

Job Description Summary

Oversees the management, coordination, and execution of multiple product development projects across entire platforms or product suites. Achieves the quality, reliability, timely production and ongoing support of new or enhanced products as identified in organizational goals and associated project specifications.

Job Description

• Interfaces with customer representatives throughout the product development cycle to gather requirements, ensure design meets the requirement, and gain approval to use the design in production.
• Ensures product engineering financial objectives are met by overseeing several project budgets.
• Oversees reviews of product development projects; directs and balances resources where needed to ensure all projects are proceeding as planned.
• Tracks product engineering project accomplishments by comparing outcomes to plans; summarizing results; keeping management informed.
• Authorizes the progression of product engineering projects from stage to stage through the product development lifecycle.
• Delivers technical presentations to various stakeholders and participates in various additional technical reviews throughout the product development cycle.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Bachelors Degree in engineering

10+ years working on Product Program with outside customers.
