This position is based in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule.
The Ingram Global Digital Solutions team is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management - Pricing to drive key customer experience initiatives for its Global digital properties. As a Senior Manager, you will be a leader within the Product and Platform organization that owns feature development, prioritization, and launch for impactful new products. You will work with our customers, business stakeholders, Partners, UX, Engineering and IT teams to define product features, set priorities and lead launches. Key responsibilities will include driving development of strategies, epics, user stories, and technical functional documents; driving development across IT, Engineering, Design, and UX in alignment with customer, business, and market requirements; diving into customer feedback, BI and other data to help prioritize and focus improvements and launches; lead execution and delivery.
The Senior Manager position involves regular communication with senior management across business, digital strategy, and technology, therefore, effective presentation skills are essential for this opportunity. We are looking for a customer focused, metrics and results driven individual who has strong market and customer analytical skills to extract the prioritization of roadmaps and business cases. As a product leader, you must be able to see the vision, set a path to get there, and lead and influence others to achieve our goals. Success is measured through customer engagement, internal efficiencies, customer satisfaction, and delivery - in short you make a difference for our customers and our business!
The Sr. Manager, Product Management - Pricing will be responsible for a team of Product Managers and the digital experience. People management and leadership skills are essential for the success of the role. Team building, cross functional collaboration, accountability, ownership and defining success criteria are some of the key qualities required for this position. We are looking for a smart and innovative Senior Manager who is self-sufficient and thrives in ambiguity, has worked within an Agile development environment, and can balance both business and technical demands. Candidates should be willing and able to jump into the details to help drive solutions and progress.
The Senior Manager will have responsibility for key digital capabilities that drive customer engagement by integrating and leveraging backend systems and data. The ability to work closely with your technical team as well as with various stakeholders from marketing to divisional and corporate groups, UX, analytics, and other internal teams. Agile team building, cross functional collaboration, accountability, ownership and defining success criteria are some of the key qualities required for this position.
The role:
- Exhibiting and building strong product management practices, principles, and leadership
- Technical Product Management and development, working together with business and technology teams to design, develop, or enhance presentation, engine, or data layer capabilities.
- Strong advocate for internal and external customers and can convert their needs into prioritized roadmaps.
- End-to-end understanding of e-commerce in B2C/B2B and deep knowledge of pricing, discounts, and promotion in e-commerce environments
- Business management, including creating strategy across product portfolios, and roadmaps, and managing respective budgets.
- Understanding of the global organization and its associated business units, with a lens toward common-sizing and solution building to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Product knowledge of front and back-end eCommerce, APIs, and 3rd party systems, with integration into modern day SaaS solutions
- Collaboration with development teams to define scope and processes within Agile Framework
- Ability to understand complex business and technical considerations and make appropriate decisions to ensure positive, global results.
- People management including the ability to identify, hire, retain, and develop highly skilled product managers.
- Meet with customers, partners, peers, and stakeholders, including regional CIOs and business leaders, to understand market and business requirements, opportunities, and challenges.
- Define product area strategy, roadmaps, and the scope of work that align with the vision of the digital strategy organization.
- Analyze macro-economic trends, perform competitive analysis, size-up internal capabilities, and build business cases to support the portfolio of initiatives.
- Ability to establish strategies and roadmaps that align across key dimensions of local (region/country), customer type (SMB/large), and product offering (hardware/software/services)
- Actively prioritizes between broad competing needs and helps to build business cases around new investment requests.
- Latitude to make product decisions for responsible functional area as aligned with broader goals.
- Manage, hire, retain and grow Technical Product Managers, nurturing the existing skillset and raising the bar for higher standards.
- Help to build a strong product culture within the organization.
- Collaborate with the respective engineering / development partners to assist in designing the best product in terms of customer experience.
- Contribute to long-term product roadmap and strategy.
- Be an ambassador for all things digital within Ingram Micro and to champion transformation across the organization.

What you bring to the role:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
- Preferred: an MBA (or equivalent) from a top-tier institution, or equivalent business experience.
- 8+ years of relevant product management experience in E-commerce in B2C/B2B- with at least 5 years of people management experience, preferably experience managing through direct report managers.
- Experience in Global Pricing engine, promotion, and customized discounts to calculate prices for products.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technology and complex workflows.
- Ability to interact with Engineers and Designers on technical topics to identify best possible decisions.
- Data driven with the ability to define, track and act upon KPIs.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with product management, business strategy, technology strategy, and roadmap planning and scenario analysis.
- Fluent in Agile, Scrum, and, ideally, SAFe
- Experience working in Jira, Confluence, and similar tools.
Position will require occasional travel, including international travel.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,300.00 - $226,600.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
