SR Manager - Special Projects

Job Summary:

Leads cross-functional project teams in executing capital projects and corporate/plant initiatives. Strategically develops, manages, and integrates project development plans and closely monitors the progress of the plan. Partners closely with team members and recognizes/implements tools needed to drive project success.

Job Description:

• Actively leads the planning and implementation of capital projects, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Defines project tasks and resource requirements; develops full scale project plans.
• Assembles and coordinates project staff, manages project budget, manages project resource allocation, and plans/schedule project timelines.
• Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools; provides direction and support to project team.
• Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders; presents reports defining project progress.
• Identifies project obstacles and implements solutions.
• Manages project changes to achieve project outputs.
• Oversees project evaluations and measures results.
• Coordinates the efforts of other Project Engineer / Project Coordinators to ensure all documentation requirements and processes are fulfilled and audit ready.
• Reconciles all required documentation with all internal legal entities.
• Provides Sr. Management with project updates.
• Work closely with Plants to integrate all new project systems.
• Develops a new technology transfer plan.
• Assists in the development of proposals and RFP; makes decisions to reconcile all change order activities with the GC.
• Meets and develops relationships with all governing agencies that have regulatory oversight of the project to assure project compliance.
