Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Remote)

CommScope is recruiting a Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing to join our growing team! This is a remote role. Candidate will be based in the US.

How You Will Make An Impact:

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing will focus on CommScope's ICN (Intelligent Cellular Network) products. This role will take the strategy at the product level and lead cross functional teams to implement efficient sourcing methods in support of those strategies as it relates to both existing products and new product introduction, with the goal of guaranteeing material supply availability and continuity globally within the selected manufacturing locations (internal and/or external)

• Lead the BU sourcing strategy driving it through the selected manufacturing plants, being them internal or external.
• Contribute to the selection, development, and maintenance of strategic relationships with main suppliers, manufacturers and distributors, with focus on electronic components
• Partner with strategic suppliers to improve factories production output and decrease future possible gating factors
• Support site purchasing teams and collaborate with Global Commodity Management
• Drive initiatives with R&D and Component Engineering in order to identify potential sourcing alternatives, decrease sole sourcing parts, and create a more flexible AVL (approved vendor list)
• Generate and analyze RFQ/bid proposals
• Participate in vendor site visits, quarterly reviews and audits
• Assist in corporate negotiations for global vendor base (both in region and multi-national).
• Identifies potential areas of the product for price improvements and feeds back to Cross Functional teams, Site Procurement teams, and Category managers

Required Qualifications For Consideration:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8+ years of procurement and/or related experience (Contract Manufacturing management preferred)
• Willing and able to travel domestic and international
• Experience leading teams

• Certification in the procurement area (like CPM or CPIM)
• Experience in the telecommunications, networking, tech industries

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $113,500 to $147,400.

The Candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
