ABOUT THE POSITION

Columbia Sportswear's dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to get products to market quickly, safely, and in the most cost-effective manner. By leveraging data analytics, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswear's supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers' ever-changing needs.

As the Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain Capabilities for Columbia Sportswear you will be responsible for driving best-in-class processes, capabilities, and innovation for the Global Supply Chain. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the consumer experience and delivering the brand promise by improving speed to deliver, reducing fulfillment operational costs by digitizing our Supply chain processes to bring Columbia to the future. You will also be responsible for collaborating with Brands, Regions, and Channels to develop, execute, and create new and improved processes and capabilities.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Lead and maximize the capabilities team, inspiring each team member to reach higher levels of performance through trust, delegation, participation, and coaching
  • Responsible for development and deployment of the SC digitization capabilities, investments, and impact to performance across the extended supply chain organization, supporting all brands, channels, and regions
  • Align and prioritize Global Supply Chain's digitization capability to business outcomes and promote synchronization with technology, product, and Enterprise strategic roadmaps
  • Maintain and harmonize oversight of SC digitization initiatives (discovery, approval, start-up, implementation, scale)
  • Develop and communicate methodology, governance, and success metrics for applicable initiatives
  • Identify and address performance, resource, and alignment gaps through partnership with cross functional stakeholders and team members
  • Provide an enterprise perspective when identifying and addressing business needs, bringing industry trends, best practices and processes to bear
  • A deep sense of learning, exploration, and discovery
  • A point of view on the role of the supply chain in the strategic development of the organization
YOU ARE
  • Willing to partner extensively across all dimensions of Columbia Sportswear to influence, drive, and deliver change
  • A self-starter and feel comfortable and excited to lead and drive projects
YOU HAVE
  • 5-7 years of Process Development Management leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Strong strategic orientation and acumen, demonstrated by prior experience in large consulting firm and demonstrated success at the Senior Manager / Project Leader level
  • Project and program management experience in an increasingly complex matrixed environment
  • Experience bringing large scale change opportunities to life through storytelling, fact-based orientation, and using advanced analytics to inform complex decision making
  • Supply chain strategy expertise in wholesale or direct to consumer; with specific focus on logistics and distribution, planning, manufacturing, returns, or store operations
  • Significant leadership experience managing a team of 3-6 people directly and up to 20 people indirectly
