As a Sr Manager, Sx Strategy supporting Strategic Planning Project Management, you will be responsible for providing analytical insights into the planning process, partnering with global directors to shape product strategies, and leading key strategic projects in Fort Worth, TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning and Business Planning

• Leads key strategic projects, problem-solves with and counsels leaders, and provides guidance to organization around problem structuring, action planning, and recommendation synthesis
• Provides analytical insights into the annual Strategic Planning process, informed by competitor gap analysis, market predictions, financial plans, and Alcon pipeline
• Partners with Global Product Directors to shape/refine product category strategies and to communicate strategic roadmaps to ELT/Board of Directors, facilitating alignment on key issues and opportunities
• Provides thought partnership to Franchise Area Heads/Global Product Directors and jointly problem solves with Global Franchise team on strategic topics by developing insights on business growth opportunities, sales execution, and performance

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Leads process to capture and vet ideas for new product ideation funnel
• Provides strategic guidance to internal clients (e.g., Franchise leadership, BD&L, Regions, Supply Chain) such as commercial priority guidance, portfolio trade-off decisions, optimization initiatives
• Drives strategic rationale for key R&D and BD&L investment decisions

Program Management

• Executes on analytical frameworks, models, tools, and techniques to plan and communicate short- and longer-term resource needs, investment strategies and portfolio management
• Partners with analytics teams to define business requirements, creating dashboards and other techniques for surfacing the right data at the right time to the right stakeholders

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs;Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
