Sr. Manager Systems Engineering

ABOUT THIS POSITION

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead teams operating and modernizing on‑prem datacenter platforms including VMware and/or Nutanix environments.
• Own reliability scalability and lifecycle management of compute storage and core infrastructure systems.
• Drive automation across provisioning configuration patching and platform operations.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives such as datacenter upgrades hardware refreshes platform migrations and modernization efforts.
• Partner with architecture security networking and application teams to deliver projects with minimal operational impact.
• Develop and mentor engineering leaders fostering accountability ownership and continuous improvement.
• Provide clear communication on risks priorities and delivery progress to senior leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 8+ years of systems or infrastructure engineering experience in on‑prem datacenter environments.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading managers and/or senior engineers.
• Strong experience with VMware and/or Nutanix platforms and enterprise storage systems.
• Proven success driving automation and infrastructure modernization.
• Experience leading complex infrastructure projects end to end.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience supporting hybrid environments or integrating with public cloud platforms (GCP AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with automation and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible PowerShell Python).
• Experience in regulated or high‑availability environments.
