We are an Industrial Design and Product Development consulting firm in the consumer product and medical product development fields. Our team is a passionate group comprised of Industrial Designers, Mechanical Engineers and Graphic Designers. We have over twenty years of experience bringing innovative product designs and development strategies to our clients, working alongside them throughout every step of the design and manufacturing process. We are searching for a talented and driven Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer who will be able to take a lead role in coordinating project strategies with both our stakeholders and our clients in order to facilitate successful project outcomes. The key responsibilities for this role include: β€’ Coordinating and leading engineering initiatives, managing schedules, and project deliverables. β€’ Providing technical hands-on leadership to achieve the highest quality standards for products and services in support of business objectives. β€’ Partnering effectively with Product to manage scope and define deliverables for the roadmap based on estimates that get refined over time, responsible for all resource assignments and communicating timeline, scope, and technical concerns to partners. Requirements: β€’ 10+ years’ experience in consumer and/or medical products using Creo/Pro-e. β€’ Must have a strong understanding of Design For Manufacturing (DFM) along with the ability to develop complex surfaces, structural analysis, and the integration of electronics. β€’ Knowledge of materials, especially plastics and the injection molding process. β€’ Ability to apply engineering principles, methods, and best practices in a manufacturing environment. β€’ Responsible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. β€’ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a high attention to detail and quality. β€’ Excellent communication verbal, presentations, and written. β€’ Must be able to commute to NJ office.
