General Description:

You will be joining Stryker Endoscopy's Test R&D team. We partner closely within product development to experiment with early prototypes and vet out product designs throughout the design process. We quickly design and build fixtures to simulate real life situations. These experiments help us find issues so that our customers do not.

In addition to your project team, you will be a part of Endoscopy's Test R&D team. We are a close-knit team of engineers, specialists, and managers located across multiple sites. Our experience ranges from < 1 year to over 20 with technical specialties including sterilization reliability, mechanical, electrical, software, and optics. What You Will Do

  • You will be responsible for design verification
  • Creating initial test plans through documenting results.
  • Test reports that are to be included in regulatory submissions.
  • Communication and coordination to share and/or coordinate samples, test execution, test results, and timelines with a cross-functional project team.
  • Leadership activities may include leading the testing on an entire product (including testing of non-mechanical features) and/or managing an intern(s), specialist(s), or other test engineer(s).

What You Need

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Biomedical, or other relevant Engineering discipline with at least 2 years of related experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrated mechanical/electrical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with Solidworks.
  • Exhibit initiative, dependability, independence, and motivation, and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships quickly and across global locations.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Test engineering experience in a regulated industry
  • Any experience in an Optical environment is a plus.
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Experience with test equipment and automation tools: Instron, Environmental Chambers, LabView, Python, Arduino, PLC, etc.

$77,000- $129,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
