Job Description:

Description: The Sr. Mgr, Ambulatory DevOps Innovation will assist assigned/identified department(s) with innovation initiatives, project management, future state planning, collaboration with stakeholders and vendors, business and operational support, defining and developing operational performance measurements, management of Manger of Quality and Compliance along with clinical and non-clinical staff, and development of tools for consistent report generation, management, and monitoring. The Sr. Mgr, Ambulatory DevOps Innovation will also manage and monitor the continuous process improvement and regulatory reporting. The data sources include, but are not limited to, Electronic Health Record (EHR), Call Center Database, Health Network Databases, Business Intelligence, Health Network Financial Systems, and Quality and Compliance Systems.
Typical Duties:
  1. Provides recommendations, planning and support for rapid innovation initiatives for ambulatory areas of the health system. This includes using, modifying and implementing tools, automating mundane and manual tasks, and consistent testing and integration.
  2. Collaborates with various departments and vendors to identify and present modernization opportunities for ambulatory operations technology that includes Epic, Telecommunications and various vendor-supported solutions.
  3. Develops future state plans for relevant areas that includes growth, centralization, vendor partnership and technology implementation.
  4. Manages Network projects to achieve project milestones and specified results to include assisting in the development and/or implementation of project evaluation tools.
  5. Acts as a resource for information and initiatives related to continuous quality improvement, including but not limited to network projects and development.
  6. Manages Professional non-clinical and clinical team members to include disciplining, coaching, counseling, preparing, and administering departmental performance evaluations.
  7. Provides analytical support and education/training for managers, directors, executive directors, of Community Health regarding operational efficiencies and administrative functions.
  8. Compiles and analyzes operational data, develops reports and analysis, designs and implements programs, and creates forms, spreadsheets, and charts with the expectation of transforming into logical, defensible, presentable, and actionable information.
  9. Prepares and analyzes financial, operational, and quality reports for the Division and other stakeholders in a timely manner. Provides requested report information in required format and discusses results with requestor(s) as needed.
  10. Reviews and analyzes cyclical and/or routine fiscal data and/or reports (e.g. comparative departmental budget reports) to determine actuals, using standards of measurement developed to evaluate fiscal performance. Collaborates with managers and/or leadership to explain any variances.
  11. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

    Required Education and Experience:
  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Behavioral Health, Health Administration, or related field of study from an accredited University.
  • 5 plus years of experience in budget/financial analysis, business operations management/analysis, or project management to include experience with high level reporting, building reports and professional presentations.

  • Preferred Education and Experience:
  • 1 plus years experience managing and/or directly supervising staff.
