Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

The Industrial Business is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager. This position will provide for a great deal of autonomy on projects and strategies that occur simultaneously and with high priority.
Please note: This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware or other items (collectively "items) subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations. Under these regulations, it may be necessary for TE to verify a candidate's national origin and/or citizenship status to determine whether a U.S. or other government export license is required prior to releasing its technologies to the candidate. If TE determines that TE will require a license or will be prohibited by applicable laws from providing the candidate with items necessary for the performance of this position, then TE expressly reserves the right to either a) make an offer of employment contingent upon TE receiving required export licenses from the appropriate government agency, b) consider the candidate for a different position that is not subject to such restrictions, on whatever terms and conditions TE shall establish in its sole discretion, or c) decline to move forward with the candidate's application.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and partner with plants on efforts tied to Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability.
- Drive a culture of compliance across plants.
- Establish relationships with the other plants to monitor, audit, and lead compliance at a local, state and federal level.
- Oversee risk and compliance strategies by identifying and driving priority issues and holding plant teams accountable via training and coaching utilizing leading and lagging metrics.
- Support in the development and issuing of training for Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability across the business.
- Work with the Center of Excellence team to identify and close gaps in Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability management systems
What your background should look like:
- Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's, Master's Degree or other technical degree. Ideal degrees include one Sustainability or Environmental Sciences, Energy, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ideal candidates should be lead auditor certified.
- Knowledgeable on ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001.
- Desirable Lead ISO Auditor Certified
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex analysis in a concise manner and to convince others without authority.
- Your project management knowledge, combined with problem-solving skills, helps you to "survive" and to satisfy the customer.
- You are we well-organized, analytical self-starter with a strong attention to detail.

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $127,100 - 190,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
