Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

Primary Function• Responsible for the Optimum use of resources to achieve the plant objectives.• Ensure the facility is a Safe and Inclusive place to work• Deliver all Quality and delivery metrics.• Continually improve and drive productivity and change.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities• Drives a Zero Accident Safety Culture• Contributes to Operational Strategy of the business unit• Drive change where needed into the business and facility• Develops and drives the manufacturing plant's business strategy• Manages operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain leaders• Influences customer relationships.• Contributes to BY R&D Technical Roadmap.• Has measurable impact on operating efficiencies and organizational objectives.• Coordinates and facilitates technical engineering related communications for internal and external customers.• Defines, coordinates, and drives technical activities.• Develops business relevant innovative solutions• Has created of controls the product or process design standard for a key technology used by other engineers• Contributes key elements to the technical roadmap of the organization• Provides high-level engineering solutions to support technical requirements• Builds and drives management of Talent across the organization

What your background should look like:

Professional Experience • 10+ years experience in various Operational Organizations with a proven track record• At least 3 years of Senior Managerial Experience• Strong Background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.• A proven performance record as a transformational leader who has significantly improved the performance of a global business through process, engagement and talent• Experience with working in a High Mix Low Volume industry, managing multiple customers and suppliers.• Develops a strong team through training, coaching, and mentoring to achieve a world class capability.• Good understanding of P&L

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills • Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitude• Ability to partner with HR and leadership team to build a strong organization, succession pipeline and scalable workforce• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams• Ability to form strong Teams and demonstrate strong leadership skills• Ability to create competitive strategies and plans, broad knowledge of strategies and tactics of the marketplace, knows trends • Strong ability to take decisions• Statistical knowledge (Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, AIAG and other statistical standards)• Good communication and presentation skills• Good English knowledge, verbal and in writing (also for presenting) • Green / Black Belt preferred

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $144,560k - $216,840k annuall (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
