Position Summary
The Mental Health Parity Team is responsible for managing the oversight and implementation of the new Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) regulatory requirements - which ensures that we provide all members with equal access to both mental health/substance use disorder and medical/surgical benefits and care. We are hiring for three positions to support the program with a focus on project management (leading business workstreams) and Agile project management (including design of project scope and business requirements). These positions will assist in the documentation and implementation of business policies and procedures supporting our Financial Requirements and Quantitative Treatment Limit testing as well as our Non-quantitative Treatment limit comparative analyses.

The successful candidate(s) will need to be resourceful and leverag e information and re sources available while managing strong working relationships across the organization. You will be a member of a team, but you must be able to act independently in a fast-moving environment , where you will be making informed strategic and tactical decisions .
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate across the enterprise business segments to understand business needs and requirements
- Develop and implemen t new ideas that support the program work and team , while helping the company achieve compliance with regulatory requirements
- Influence change to improve processes, organization effectiveness and systems
- Assist others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact the program and/or project goals
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
- Ability to analyze data and information and summarize findings for regulators, customers and internal business units
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills
Required Qualifications - Ability to quickly grasp business concepts, objectives, and strategies and summarize them
- Proven experience leading cross-functional, matrixed projects and programs
- 5-7+ years of successful project management experience
- 5-7+ years of healthcare business/insurance industry experience
- Knowledge of Federal and state Mental Health Parity regulations and implementation
- Program Management skills including evaluation of business processes, managing project timelines, facilitating matrix teams
- Experience with SAFe Agile methodology (preferred but not required for these roles)
- U nderstanding of Group Health Plans ( i.e. network, provider reimbursement, clinical, and/or product is preferred)
- Proven c ommunication s kill with experience writing for and presenting to a variety of audiences within the organization
- Strong MS Office skills
Education
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.40
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
