Job Summary:

Manages the activities of a software systems development function, software applications development function, and/or a software quality assurance function. Provides oversight and strategic guidance to management personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees management resources in accordance with corporate and division goals and objectives. Instructs and guides management staff to maximize their managerial and corporate growth and development. Provides feedback and completes performance appraisals. Participates in development of annual staff salary, budget plans, and reports to senior management on the status of the staff and projects.
• Establish the technical direction for product working with engineering and product management.
• Leads and guides the development and maintenance products and services ensuring they align with the company's strategic and business plans.
• Manages product security including product risk reduction, compliance, product security training, product security software development lifecycle, and security architecture.
• Leads interaction with internal and external organizations and individuals to ensure appropriate information exchange, with the goal of properly developing the staff and successfully completing assigned projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the job:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 years software development and/or design experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and ability to identify areas for improvement
• Management or leadership experience (at least 5 years)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

• Knowledge of payment processing (Issue, Bank, Processor, and Auth)
• Understanding of Fraud Strategies by Market / Channel
• Developing applications using Java, C/ C++, and Python.
• Developing Front end applications using Angular or React Frameworks.
• Expertise in micro services architectures
• Expertise in SSO with MFA and familiarity with SAML, OpenID and OAuth2.
• Experience in deploying and managing enterprise application in windows / Linux environments.
• Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle / Postgres/ SQL server) and No SQL databases such as Cassandra / HBase /Yugabyte.
• Knowledge in OpenShift and or Cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS or Google Cloud

Work Environment:

• Standard work environment
• Some limited Travel required, may be domestic or international
