Job Overview
The Senior Global Supply Chain Manager for Inventory and Automotive plants is part of the Global Supply Chain organization for TE Sensors. Reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain, the Senior Manager will be responsible for establishing, leading, and improving global inventory processes and systems in addition to partnering with plants within the Automotive business unit to improve delivery, backlog performance, and customer satisfaction.
Global Inventory Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for owning and improving all aspects of Sensors global inventory processes and multi-year strategy to positively impact customer delivery and minimize investment cost. The Senior Manager will partner with critical stakeholders across Sensors to establish inventory plans, standards, and procedures that support Supply Chain goals, meet our business budgets, and optimize operational results. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing, analyzing, and reporting on global KPI's to ensure Sensors is meeting its inventory targets and driving effective cross-functional corrective actions and accountability when performance deviates from expectations.

Automotive Supply Chain Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing projects and initiatives across all automotive sites that build sensors to maximize on-time delivery to our customers while minimizing overall inventory and investment cost in our distribution network. As a planning expert, the Senior Manager will partner with site and DC planning staff as well as corporate Supply Chain to develop and improve processes and analytics that optimize plant scheduling and order fulfillment.
The Senior Global Supply Chain Manager will partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Product Management to fully understand customer and market requirements and develop system-driven stocking and planning strategies across Automotive sites and DC's that meet or exceed those market requirements.
Main Metrics, KPI's, and Areas of Focus:
Global Inventory:
• Global inventory strategy and process development and implementation
• Deployment and improvement of short and long-term inventory models for Sensors
• Global inventory value, turnover, and budgeting (financial turns and days on hand)
• Alignment and monitoring of global buys and builds to Supply Chain PFEP across all sites and DC's
• Global slow moving inventory monitoring and reduction
• Global inventory accuracy, improvement, and procedural effectiveness
• Master data setting, management, and oversight to achieve inventory results
Automotive Supply Chain:
• Shipments to Customer Request (On-Time Delivery to Request)
• Shipments to Original Commitment (On-Time Delivery to Promise)
• % of Backlog missed to Promise and Request
• Stocking strategies and lead time optimization
• Master data management and oversight to achieve intended business results
• Mentorship and functional management of site supply chain leaders
What your background should look like:
• Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or relevant technical field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years' experience successfully leading global planning and inventory improvement initiatives. 5+ years as a global manager.
• Proven track record of developing robust processes within the supply chain function that deliver positive business results. Inventory control focus and experience highly desired.
• Expert understanding of order fulfillment, discrete planning and scheduling, inventory, and procurement mechanisms
• Expert understanding of inventory and connection to financial statements
• Outstanding understanding of ERP systems, specifically SAP. S/4 Hana experience highly desired.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Professional understanding of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SI&OP)
• Experience in matrix organizations preferred
• Semiconductor planning background preferred.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $139,800- $209,760 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
