SR MGR, SUPPLY CHAIN/SOURCING

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain / Sourcing will be responsible for overseeing the production of a specific category across multiple brands. The Senior Manager manages complex products, categories, and brands. The Senor Manager, Supply Chain / Sourcing will be responsible for managing, developing and implementing process changes and best-in-class business methods, tools and information system across the product development teams. The Sr Manager, Supply Chain / Sourcing will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the goals of the brands are met. The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain / Sourcing will be expected to approach their role with a high degree of honesty while upholding the brand's integrity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Builds strong, trusting relationships with Merchandising, Design, Inventory as well as Offices and Agents overseas - enforcing ongoing and regular communication as a group. Educates peers on sourcing as well as quality/production challenges. Raises market issues, potential risks, challenges, and concerns with the Internal Brands. Identify options/strategies to minimize risks.
• Implements sourcing and product development strategy for the category/categories.
• Communicates operations and sourcing requirements for the category/categories to internal partners and external vendors.
• Manages large COGs volume.
• Serves as the Brand lead.
• Presents weekly business reviews, completes final edits, and executive line reviews to leadership.
• Leads special sourcing strategic projects.
• Manages the milestone dates to the Production calendar to assure deadlines to development and sampling process are achieved within required timeframes.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to confirm the raw material, color, and fit/specification approvals.
• Manages the order through handover process.
• Negotiates and manages costing based on the seasonal guidance that's been strategized.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years successful experience in apparel global sourcing environment
• Previous experience working for a multinational corporation in the apparel business
• In-Depth sourcing, supply chain, reporting, processes, knowledge
• Knowledge of business culture, cost factors and major risks in China/India/South Asia/etc.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop others
• Performs with a high level of accountability and leadership
• Proven capabilities setting and executing strategy
• Must have excellent analytical skill and proven problem solving abilities
• Strong communication skill.
• Good at working with multiple teams
• Strong excel skills and working knowledge of access
• Ability to travel overseas. Domestic travel.
