Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs, and providing customer support for mid-market blocks of business in assigned territory.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:β’ Current General Agent Insurance License.β’ 2 years of health insurance account management experience, benefits advisor/consultant, or health insurance sales experience renewing books of business and/or closing salesβ’ Customer service oriented.β’ Knowledge of health care products and sales techniques.β’ Analytical skills.β’ Negotiation skills.β’ Written and verbal communication skills including building strong customer relations.β’ Presentation skills.β’ PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.β’ Ability and willingness to travel, as needed.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:β’ Bachelor's degree.β’ Experience developing and analyzing reports.β’ Experience with sales systems.
