Summary of This Role

Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and operational analysis of system performance to ensure optimal processing efficiency. Works closely with IT Technical and Application Support teams in identifying and resolving processing issues. Administers multiple software packages and enterprise class server systems involved in the analysis of system and batch performance. Performs problem determination, analysis and executes corrective action. Has the role to create process scripting and automation to ensure consistency and high platform availability. Creates and maintains various analytical reports utilized by both technical and business owners. Supports all Business Continuity activities. Provides operational support for all conversion/deconversion activities. Communicates with both internal/external clients.

What Part Will You Play?

• As a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), administers, creates, interprets, and evaluates the relevance of business metric reports/data across distributed computing environments that determine processing performance. Provides SME advice and support in the development and maintenance of predictive modeling tools to enhance performance related to scheduling, prioritization, and coordination of production files by proactively assessing processing performance and future client needs.

• As the technical SME, leads the development of automation tools, products, applications, and business processes to increase productivity, eliminate duplications, and coordinate information requirements and evaluates the effectiveness of job prioritization and the maximization of resources. Provides SME advice to all levels of management and team members on interpretation/ development/ revision of policies and procedures.

• Provide strategic guidance to Subject Matter Experts, training, communications and stakeholders to ensure smooth "go live" when new systems or processes are moved to production.

• Provide in-depth analysis to implement tuning opportunities to improve run-time optimization and work as a technical expert with the business/application teams to remedy issues. Design and evaluate analytical tools utilizing statistical data to identify opportunities for improvement and consistency across all environments.

• Act as a primary owner of the backend financial transaction processing and computing environment.

• As a technical SME, lead operational direction for all Business Continuity activities and conversion/deconversion activities.

• Lead communications, keeping internal partners informed of all critical issues.

• Provides training and SME guidance to lower level team members.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; Relevant Experience or Degree in: Information Technology, Science, Technology or Business related study; relevant experience in lieu of education

• Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp

• Information Technology Field and/ or Bankcard Industry

Preferred Qualifications

• IT or Business related study

• 10+ Years Relevant Exp

• Operations experience with on-prem Windows VMs. SQL Server, Google Cloud

• Application/Productivity software - Advanced knowledge of software such as Microsoft suite, SQL language, Powershell, etc

• Skill and experience in analyzing network architectures including router, firewall and switch paths using common Windows software tools plus more advanced network analysis tools

• Demonstrated Experience developing solutions in Powershell.

• Demonstrated Experience developing medium complexity SQL queries 

• Some .NET code development experience and/or application architecture experience, preferred
