Position at SBM Management

The Payroll Systems team is responsible for all systems required to complete the payroll process. The Sr. Payroll Systems Administrator will direct, manage, oversee, and maintain payroll related systems. The position will serve as point of contact and subject matter expert on SBM payroll, related systems and liaison with other SBM departments (i.e. Human Resources, Information Technology, Payroll, Finance). This position is responsible for supporting the department's business processes and to collaborate effectively with all departments and Third-party administrators to ensure accurate and timely payrolls. Support the payroll team in the successful implementation of UKG system and related process changes, ensure UKG systems function properly to produce an accurate PD payroll file. The Sr. Payroll Systems Administrator will generate and maintain mostly complex reports to leverage system capabilities and/or MS 365 tools and uses SQL or other database product to create queries and/or define reports. Provide excellent customer service, professionalism, and efficient support to staff and all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Validate that all required system environments (test and production) are operational, maintain system environments for testing and implementation of changes, manage and implement system releases and on-going maintenance
  • Lead implementation of new client pay calculation groups to support corporate transitions.
  • Communicate internally and externally on system status, changes, and payroll processes.
  • Lead process improvements and implement changes (i.e. guidance council/core team changes), ensure procedures are created and maintained
  • Communicate internally and externally on system status, changes, and payroll processes
  • Monitor payroll related issues and work towards their timely and customer friendly resolution
  • Generate and maintain mostly complex reports to leverage system capabilities and/or MS Office tools and uses SQL or other database product to create queries and/or define reports
  • Use and/or troubleshoot related software and performs quality assurance and controls data integrity
  • When necessary to design and document basic workflows to ensure proper application/user interface; may create document links
  • Develops and documents SOP's and user guidelines
  • Provide training to end-users and may provide basic desktop and mobile-user training on new systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000 per year
