About the role:As a Sr People Partner, you will be crucial in helping Whalar build and scale during this explosive stage of growth. This is a high-impact role, partnering with our teams in London, Spain, Germany, and Estonia to drive our People strategy and initiatives. This will be an instrumental role in keeping Whalar a global leader in the Influence space.
Hereās what youāll do day-to-day:- Work with the Head of People to manage the daily people operations for EMEA and support all stages of the employee lifecycle; including onboarding, payroll, and benefits management.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by delivering best-in-class strategic and operational HR support
- Will manage a People CoordinatorĀ
- Serve as a crucial point of contact between executive leadership and employees
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Facilitate and lead employee relations activities, including conducting internal audits and disciplinary meetings
- Partner closely with the broader HR team
- Brings new ideas to the table
- 6+ years experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role
- Experience with UK and Spanish employment law ( Germany & Estonia are a bonus)Ā
- Fluent in English and at least one other language (ideally Spanish)
- In-depth knowledge and experience dealing with complex employee relations cases, with the ability to analyze, interpret and explain employment law.
- Own employee onboarding for EMEA Teams.Ā
- A passion for building diverse teams and delivering an exceptional employee experience.
- Track record of building successful programs, consensus, and comfortable having both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
- Expertise in anticipating issues across the organization and recognizing opportunities and proactively developing initiatives
- Experience collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization, gaining trust, and working with teams to iterate on the process.
- Startup experience (huge points)
- Experience in marketing, advertising, or influencer spaceĀ
- Experience building learning and development programsĀ
- Experience with GreenhouseĀ
- Knowledge and experience with immigration and visa filing
