Sr Performance Engineer

Job Description

Oversees, directs, manages, develops, continually evaluates and follows up with Performance Engineers on implementation/auditing projects. Evaluates efficient sequence of operations and work flow and recommends improvements to operational processes to maximize utilization of facilities and personnel. Implements labor standards across the Consumer Sector. Performs site audits, reporting, project management, and training related to labor management.

• Develops project timelines, ensures milestone achievement, and provides direction to Performance Engineers involved in field activities related to site implementations

• Implements engineered labor standards

• Provides support, training, development, and daily work direction for performance engineers to ensure project completion meets established timelines. Trains Engineers in the concepts and use of company systems, methodologies, and philosophies to ensure coordination of efforts and compliance with established procedures

• Oversees development, implementation, maintenance, and accuracy of engineered standards across sites. Oversees time studies and methods analyses to determine and update engineered standards

• Works with operations team to identify improvements in productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction. Identifies potential projects, assesses feasibility, and participates in implementing solutions

• Partners with external/internal customer on project development and issue resolution to improve customer satisfaction and deliver preferred results. Identifies improvements in productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction

• Identifies potential projects, assesses feasibility, and participates in implementing solutions.

• Develops, refines, and implements processes and tools to enhance operational processes, reduce operational costs, and improve customer satisfaction

• Assists on special technical projects related to LMS, process improvement, or re-engineering.

• Assists in the development of reporting tools, documentation and system enhancements

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education, required

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, industrial engineering or related, preferred

• 2-5 years of experience in operations, logistics, distribution, or transportation, required

• 1 year of experience developing/refining engineered standards, LMS program management, industrial engineering, or related experience, required

• 1 year industrial engineering, operational analysis, or relevant experience, preferred
