The Senior Pricing Analyst will support the Analytical Instrument Group (AIG) to use strategic Pricing and Promotions to drive profitable growth through commercial share gains and effective price realization. The candidate will be responsible for improving data analytics and intuition for business to bring forward insights and recommendations to business leadership that make a measurable impact on AIG's growth objectives. The role will report to Senior Manager, AIG Pricing and will work closely with division finance teams, and other business teams including commercial, marketing, and product management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on pricing strategy and executions, working with business partners within Finance, Sales, Product Management, and Marketing on pricing decisions
- Empower business partners to make data driven business choices, by using various Pricing tools and models such as Price /Volume Analytics, Discount Authority Matrix (DAM) Tool, Pricing Trend Dashboards, and various other pricing databases
- Analyze promotion effectiveness, generate insights around patterns, trends, and price/volume tradeoffs, and make recommendations to amplify promotion impact to drive significant Share Gain and Market Penetration for CAD business
- Give to the development and improvement of data-driven pricing tools to optimally visualize data and deliver business insights.
- Support weekly pricing analysis and report-out, highlighting market trends and useful insights
- Provide all pricing and promotions reporting for senior leadership, highlighting key observations and recommendations for impact
- Manage the promotion review process working closely with key partners to craft competitive promotions and facilitate leadership approval, implementation, and tracking of efficiency
- Survey price-volume tradeoffs and provide analysis to help business design/refine promotions
- Support the continual improvement of pricing tools and processes
- Support pricing forecast exercise and drive alignment between cross-functional team members
- Perform ad hoc data analysis for business around customer, product, and market dynamics
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, mathematics, statistics, economics, or data science field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience of building financial models, data analytics/science using Excel, SQL, or Python
- Strong interpersonal skills to articulate sophisticated business problems, lead cross-functional discussions, and ability to drive alignment with key partners in a matrix org structure
- Ability to work cross-functionally and optimally to influence business partners
- Open-minded and willing to learn; sensitive to cultural and market difference across regions
- Previous experience of project management skills is preferred.
- Ability to travel (~10%)

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $98,450.00-$126,550.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
