About the Team

Our Technology Services organization is growing fast and we are looking for Software Engineers to join our team. We want passionate developers who love technology, upward mobility and want to make an impact.

To support the phenomenal growth in the number of Workday customers, we are building a core team to design and develop a new platform and tools that will accelerate and ease adoption of Workday's solution in our customer's business.

Our target users are consultants and technical partners who set-up a new customer in the Workday application. A major task includes migrating data from their existing landscape into the Workday cloud.

About the Role

We are looking for a person to take on a senior / Principal technical role. The right candidate will put the customer first, understand their user stories and will identify ways to build and run the Public Cloud version of Workday, ensuring stability and ability to scale and meeting the needs both of our customers and other Workday technical teams. We are hiring a Senior Principal Engineer for this role with the following skills and experience of the candidate

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of software and systems delivery experience
• 10+ years of Production knowledge of at least one of Go/Python
• 10+ years of Scripting knowledge in Python/Ruby/Linux Scripting
• 7+ years of Experience with Kubernetes (managing Kubernetes clusters, developing microservices to run on Kubernetes)
• 8+ years of Development and Operations experience of large distributed architecture applications on a Public Cloud platform (AWS/GCP)
• 8+ years of Experience and familiarity working with CI/CD tools

Other Qualifications:

• Storage, Networking, Systems and Operations experience on a Public Cloud platform
• Experience in Agile environments/Agile development methodologies
• Continuous Delivery experience, owning your service through to production.
• Experience with ArgoCD and Tekton.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or similar
• Experience mentoring and building a strong technical team

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $192,000 - $288,000

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $182,400 - $348,000
