Sr Principal Solutions Architect

The Wealth Management Data Platforms team is looking for an experienced Data professional who can help define and direct data solutions that'll allow the Business Unit to unleash data driven decision making through analytics, ML and AI.
As a Sr Solution Architect on the team your role will include

• Designing Azure Cloud Solutions to fulfil business needs through:
• Improving Data consistency, Timeliness of data delivery and Data Quality
• Reducing copies of data to improve development and run efficiencies
• Enabling the transition of the applications to the Cloud by making Data Products available in a consistent pattern through API, AI, ML
• Building a strong team of technical data champions and engineers within Wealth Management Tech
• Providing structured mentorship for other team members
• Implementing reusable patterns for consumption by the teams
• Communicating with global teams to collaborative work on business deliveries (planning and execution).
• Providing design level functional and technical expertise along with best practices.
• Accountability of data models and solution architecture
• Leading teams through influence to help build their knowledge on end to end solution considerations using domain driven design and other modern engineering practices

You must have:

• An ability in data-driven business transformation, and driving change with data
• Expertise in designing lakehouse/ data solutions on Azure/ Snowflake
• Financial Services Experience recommended.

• Technical Knowledge in big data, data science and cloud
• 5+ years of experience with design and implementation experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP or full lifecycle data science solutions
• Maintain and extend production data systems to evolve with complex customer needs
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java

• Knowledge of ETL patterns for data ingestion, processing and distribution using pipelines on Azure cloud services.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least ten or more years of solid, diverse work experience in all aspects of systems programming, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
