Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Product Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of the product vision for a platform aimed to optimize our centralized clinical order service. As a key member of the digital product management group, this role is responsible for managing and driving the product backlog planning, prioritization of features and ensuring timely delivery of cross-functional projects.
This role will require a strong functional leader and influencer who can navigate a fast paced environment while demonstrating strong analytical and technical skills.Â
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the product backlog and prioritize features accordingly
-
Partner with engineering teams, product managers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure cross-alignment and successful delivery of product initiatives

Define clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria and specifications leveraging agile methodologies to drive iterative development

Facilitate scrum ceremonies and help define technical solutions with on-shore and off-shore scrum teams

Coordinate and lead release planning activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure timely delivery of product features

Establish key processes to increase team velocity

Partner with QA teams to align on quality benchmarks
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
-
5+ years of experience in product management or product owner roles
-
Validated experience in the development of robust product requirement documentation including executable stories for highly performing applications or backend systems
-
Experience working in an agile development environment and leading remote engineering teams
-
Demonstrated experience influencing larger groups and leading a team in a successful project
-
Prior experience leading and influencing remote engineering teams
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Proven ability to work and influence cross-functional teams; effective at building rapport with key stakeholders
-
Flexible and agile; willingness to tackle any type of challenge; highly motivated to roll up sleeves
-
Proven organizational skills and extraordinary attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
