Honey joined the PayPal family to help supercharge our mission of creating fairness and value for everyone, with much of the team based in Los Angeles. We're now a part of the PayPal Shopping org, where we're using the collective insights of our millions of members to power the PayPal and Honey online shopping platforms that allows everyone to shop smarter, together. Product Management is at the center of the company's daily operations. Each Product Manager leads one or more mission teams that consist of engineers, product designers and analysts, and the team collectively collaborates on goals, north stars and the company-wide roadmap. We have a strong emphasis on aligned autonomy and a culture of collaboration and thus we expect every member of the team to have a strong sense of ownership, not just within their product domain, but for the overall success of the company and the trust of our users and partners. We are looking for Product Managers to help shape and scale a growing portfolio of products.
About the Role:
The Savings & Rewards vertical at Honey/PayPal is comprised of teams that work on Honey’s core feature set for delivering users savings and finding them rewards. Our mission is to deliver excellent user experiences by building trust that shoppers have the best deal with Honey. Our vertical is expanding in order to incorporate these experiences into the PayPal surfaces, where there will be maximum opportunity for impact.
As a Sr. Product Manager in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our loyalty and rewards experiences are incorporated into the shopping experiences across all PayPal surfaces, including the PayPal website and mobile app.
The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding user problems and excited by deriving product and marketing insights from our data. Additionally, they are technical enough to brainstorm with our engineering teams on the appropriate solutions that ultimately help our customers achieve their financial goals.
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Product Manager at Honey/PayPal, you will:
Work closely with other product managers, analysts, engineers, and QA, as well as across the organization with marketing, revenue, and finance
Collaborate with Product leadership on driving ideation, prioritization, and execution of product improvements that deliver top-tier user solutions while optimizing for business outcomes
Expand our industry-leading cash back program across PayPal surfaces
Optimize for delivering excellent shopping experiences while driving incremental outcomes for our partners
Forecast revenue and strategic impact of product solutions and implement complex research & tests in order to measure outcomes
Ensure industry excellence and consistency across surfaces for our loyalty/rewards programs
Discover, follow, and share industry trends along with academic insights around ecommerce and loyalty/rewards in order to influence product changes
About You:
5+ years of experience building and shipping technology products on time and at scale
3+ years of experience in eCommerce, AdTech, or working on loyalty/rewards platforms
You have a “first principles” mindset and always seek out the root cause
Experience analyzing, prioritizing, and optimizing to grow KPIs with minimal historical context
Ability to be scrappy and navigate ambiguity with curiosity and zeal in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative mindset and experience negotiating stakeholders at mid/large-size companies (legal, finance, compliance, etc.)
Excellent communication skills to educate and influence
