Job Summary

The Sr Mgr, Product will be responsible for overseeing the team responsible for planning/coordinating print and promotions jobs from beginning through delivery. This role will provide leadership in the planning, coordination of outside services, purchase order entry, artwork approvals and follow up with internal plant personnel and customer service/sales team. They are responsible for reviewing the planning/purchasing procedures and using their planning knowledge/expertise to look for efficiencies throughout the planning process.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in printing and promotions expertise to the planning department to improve processes and gain efficiencies throughout the production planning process.
• Review estimates and artwork for print, hard-goods, screen print and litho print orders to ensure orders are entered accurately.
• Coordinate all necessary outside service operations and handle any situations that occur with outsourced print and promotions vendors. Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Monitor inventory balances/ programs, when applicable.
• Run daily reports to determine and monitor the status of each job.
• Attend daily production meetings and update plant production staff with job status information.
• Partner with sales leadership to ensure Preferred meets and exceeds the customer's service expectations.
• Provide detailed cost analysis on POP, FULFILLMENT, or PROMOTIONS ITEMS as required.
