The Opportunity:

Open Lending is seeking an experienced Product Manager for a new strategic product initiative within the automotive lending industry.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and implement the GTM strategy for new products developed. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Conduct market research to analyze market needs.
    • Develop a business plan that includes financials, budget, and sales and pricing strategy in partnership with other departments.
    • Create and maintain product strategy documentation with business cases, personas, use cases, and business value in the form of revenue and ROI.
    • Build and deliver on the new product roadmap, reporting progress to leadership.
    • Develop OKRs that measure product success, with KPIs that track progress. Use the results of these metrics to improve client satisfaction.
    • Create training and sales enablement material to support the launch.
    • Conduct product launch.
  • Accountable for the quality delivery of meaningful enhancements to the Lenders Protection platform. Partner with engineering, product, marketing, sales, data, and risk to develop, test, price, market, roll out, and sell these enhancements.
  • Be an expert on the domain, the market, and the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Build relationships with customers to understand your target audience.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and other collaborative departments to ensure smooth feature rollouts and market introductions.
  • Maintain and enhance SDLC policies, procedures, and practices. Champion the adoption of these processes throughout the organization.
  • Develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders, and actively engage customers for product ideation, feedback, adoption, and strategic planning.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of product management or equivalent experience with demonstrated ability to discover opportunities, and then define and deliver products.
  • Experience with license and SaaS pricing strategies
  • Experience in building or significantly contributing to product GTM strategies
  • Experience in AI/ML data products
  • Proven record of successfully launching new products to the market
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer and stakeholder empathy for all types of stakeholders, including external clients and internal departments.
  • Analytical nature uses data-driven decision-making.
  • History of successful software delivery with Agile SDLC methodologies.
  • Technical background (experience in software development or data analytics) preferred.
  • FinTech product experience preferred.
