• Seeking a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of the Commerce, Retail or other supply chain intensive industries, and competitive landscape.

Scope:

• The Sr. Director will be a Commerce evangelist and own the go to market plan for product launches and market communications throughout product life cycles.
• They will have the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into business benefits and develop product positioning, messaging and content that resonates with customers along each stage of the buying process.
• The Product Marketing team currently comprises of ~10 global associates across the US and UK and is expected to grow. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Lead and develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with targeted buyers by understanding our brand, customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive landscape
• Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new Commerce features, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to determine effective launch strategies, including rollout sequencing and creative asset development, and communication goals to drive key metrics.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to conduct research to understand consumer needs, influence the product strategy, and secure alignment across teams.
• Create, manage, and execute the product marketing strategy and integrated marketing campaigns for new and existing products to optimize reach, customer acquisition and retention.
• Be at the forefront of Commerce trends by conducting market analysis and competitive benchmarking and translating learnings into actionable insights to shape the product roadmap and marketing plans.
• Lead creation of thought-leading product marketing materials and content across digital and print communications such as customer literature, blogs, e-mails, videos, webinars, presentations, web copy, advertisement, and trade show/event material.
• Develop the Commerce marketing plan including budget forecasting.
• Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.
• Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/executional responsibilities.
• Effectively communicate marketing plan, progress to plans and campaign/pipe updates on a regular basis to stakeholders - manager, sales, product, corp/demand-gen, other product marketers
• Manage, coach and guide the team with clarity of deliverables, priorities and timelines to be successful.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or directly related experience required.
• 7-10+ years of product marketing experience preferably in the SaaS environment, Commerce, Supply chain or platform solutions
• Strong project planning and management skills, with proven ability to oversee complex projects from origin to execution.
• Exceptional collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
• Strong sense of ownership, work ethic and self-motivation.
• Experience in these additional marketing areas is a plus: Demand generation, email marketing, social media, and branding.
• Ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines.
