Job Description

Who We Are:

With a legacy spanning over 20 years, PracticeTek is the market leader in practice management and electronic health record software for the retail healthcare market (Chiropractic, Ortho/Dental, Optometry, Therapy, Multi-Disciplinary) serving medical practices across the United States and Canada. We are a growing and profitable, privately-funded organization who stays ahead of the pack by constantly innovating, growing, and developing new products and services that serve the health and wellness profession. Our software helps practitioners create a positive in-clinic experience for patients, from scheduling to treatment to payment and insurance processing. Our vision – to be the most loved, most essential software and service provider for every practice – is not just words. These words reflect who we are as a company, and who we are as people.

Your Career Opportunity:

PracticeTek is looking for an experienced consultant to drive our systems integration effort as we consolidate and harmonize systems across multiple functional areas, not to extend beyond 12 months. As a Sr Program Manager of Systems Integration for our growing software business, which delivers practice management, electronic health record and other solutions to the retail healthcare market, you will build and mentor a diverse set of project teams, manage multiple concurrent projects, and drive the development and adoption of new tools and business processes. You will work directly with Executives and other key stakeholders and will participate in thought leadership and planning. Strong sensibilities in the areas of cross-functional collaboration, vendor relationship management, project management, change management, data integrity and process harmonization will make you a perfect fit for this role.

Your Areas of Accountability:

  • Manage multiple medium- to large-scale projects in the areas of system integration and data migration

  • Draft and maintain project plans, including project timelines, work breakdown structures, risk registers, project budgets, stakeholder management plans and communication plans

  • Oversee requests for proposal, along with the evaluation, recommendation, procurement and onboarding of program vendors

  • Oversee vendor/partner relationships related to the program

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and business units to harmonize requirements and achieve buy-in

  • Translate generalized business goals and objectives into concrete strategy and tactical plans

  • Champion standardization and scalability across the program, minimizing customization of solutions where business value cannot be demonstrated

  • Drive business process transformation and standardization with an eye to Agile delivery and a short time to value

  • Develop change management strategies and procedures appropriate to each project within the program

  • Drive stakeholder engagement and organizational change management within impacted business units and departments

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders through proactive leadership

  • Drive the design, documentation and execution of testing strategies and plans

  • Adapt to evolving project landscapes and business priorities, managing toward on-time, on-budget completion of projects within the program

  • Lead daily standups, requirements gathering, sprint planning and related ceremonies, along with project status meetings for executive stakeholders

  • Ensure proper communication of project status, risks, schedules and dependencies to stakeholders at every level

  • Work closely with the Program Sponsor and Executive Management to facilitate any project decisions necessary for program delivery

  • Maintain proper change control for each project within the program

Competencies for Success:

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent high-risk projects

  • Demonstrated abilities in people management, risk management, change management, and agile or hybrid project management

  • Demonstrated experience managing systems integration projects including data migrations

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build, manage and inspire diverse project teams

  • Demonstrated experience developing CRM technologies including Salesforce

  • Demonstrated experience developing, configuring or supporting lead-to-cash processes

  • Experience with data architecture, data transformation, data warehousing and reporting

  • Experience in the B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry

  • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills along with an ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail

  • Comfort working in a highly collaborative environment, with receptiveness to feedback and the applied experience of others

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience interacting with senior leaders and creating/presenting proposals, project reviews and diagrams

At PracticeTek, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $85.00hr-$110.00hr for this position.

We encourage everyone to respond. All applicants will receive fair and impartial treatment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, legally protected physical or mental disability, protected veteran status, status in the U.S. uniformed services, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information or on any other basis which is protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
