This individual will direct and coordinate, the tasks in the capital equipment procurement process and the functional groups that are involved in the process, from spec creation through product invoicing. Using established templates and following the Standard Work Procedures, this individual will be responsible to perform the following:

• Review capital equipment requirements with Subject Matter Experts to evaluate machine specifications, compliance to P&W requirements, and edit Specification Templates to reflect the requirements of the products being procured.
• Maintain and track capital equipment project schedules.
• Demonstrate proactive measures by ensuring stakeholders have reviewed and weighed in on machine specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate any required meetings with Suppliers after purchase order is issued to develop a detailed timeline for post purchase order activities.

Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant Project Management experience, Manufacturing or Aerospace industry highly preferred.
• Purchasing or Procurement background is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
• Good computer skills are required.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
