In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing &Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department ofEnergy/National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Kansas City NationalSecurity Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing, and sourcingfacility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trustednational security products and government services primarily for the NNSA.Honeywell FM&T's culture of integrity, commitment and continuousimprovement enables them to deliver responsive, collaborative, and innovativemanagement and technology services and products that translate into cuttingedge solutions to complex national security issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads moderately complex Program(s), Project(s), and/orstrategic business process development/execution.
- Represents Continuity of Operations function for assignedprogram elements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluates, determines and drives program managementactivities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex businesscontinuity program elements.
- Provides expertise to review and drive execution ofinnovative solutions to technical issues.
- Develops cost, scope, and schedule framework for projectsand program elements; manages and intervenes as necessary to ensure delivery tocost, scope, and schedule agreements.
- Provides primary support and guidance to the financialplanning, monitoring, scheduling, and preparation and release oftechnical/schedule information required for program/project planning.
- Leads multiple aspects of moderately complex financialplanning, monitoring, reporting, scheduling, and communication required forprogram/project planning and control.
- Performs some technical, administrative, and logisticalliaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies,laboratories, integrated contractors and other government agencies for one ormore programs. May function as lead for one or more element of the businesscontinuity program.
- Coaches and Mentors project managers and other programsupport staff.
- Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and worksin accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protectionof employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to"stop" work when an unsafe conditions or actions are identified.
You Must Have:
- Five or more years of relevant experience in project planning, engineering of products or processes, business continuity, or manufacturing processes
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or 2 additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Be able to obtain and maintain "Q" level security clearance.
