What you will do

As a Sr. Project Manager/Scrum Masteryou will be part of a dynamic engineering organization responsible for the development and support of Johnson Control's Building Automation System (BAS) products, including the flagship Metasys. These products are used globally to control and manage buildings for energy efficiency, comfort, and health. You will work with individual Scrum teams as Scrum Master and across teams to coordinate defect resolution, improve process, and evangelize Agile and SAFe methodologies and mindset.
How you will do it
  • Work with global Scrum Masters, Product Owners, RTE and Program Manager to coordinate and facilitate SAFe ceremonies.
  • Provide transparency to the field service organization regarding defect resolution and feature development.
  • Contribute to Scrum Master Community of Practice and Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE).
  • Provide metrics for consumption by Scrum teams and program.
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums meeting with global teams.
  • Promote Agile practices across Scrum teams and across Program functions such as product management, field service, and program management.
What we look for
  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience, 3+ years of experience with Scrum as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Comfortable working with both software developers and software/firmware engineers.
  • Understanding of traditional project management (waterfall), excitement around Agile practices, and a desire to find the best path forward.
  • Preferred certifications: Scum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scrum Alliance Certified Product Owner (CPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (PO/PM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (ASM) or similar.
