Sr. Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

This role is a senior-level QA automation position focused on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of multiple enterprise-grade products and services through robust automated testing frameworks. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining regression test suites and automation pipelines that support frequent and high-quality software releases. Working in a fast-paced Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams across onshore and offshore locations. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD tools, along with the ability to guide and mentor peers. You will also contribute to evolving QA strategies, improving testing efficiency, and reducing production defects. This is a highly impactful role where automation quality directly supports customer satisfaction and product stability at scale.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web-based and API-driven applications to ensure comprehensive test coverage across multiple products.
• Build, maintain, and optimize regression test suites and automation pipelines, ensuring stability, speed, and minimal false positives.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and offshore/onshore teams to coordinate testing activities and resolve defects efficiently.
• Define and implement automation test strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with Agile delivery cycles.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable reporting to management on product quality and risk areas.
• Lead improvements in QA automation processes, tools, and environments in collaboration with QA leadership.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to QA team members on automation techniques and engineering standards.
• Ensure rapid response to changing requirements by adapting automation frameworks and test coverage accordingly.
• Maintain strong alignment with product, development, and support teams to ensure high-quality releases and reduced post-release defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Software QA, including 3+ years in test automation for web applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, C#, and Page Object Model design patterns.
• Proven experience in API testing and automation (REST and SOAP), using tools such as ReadyAPI or SoapUI.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and test management tools such as Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, builds, and defect tracking).
• Experience with SQL (MySQL, SQL Server) for data validation and testing.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Reqnroll or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to own and maintain regression suites and automation pipelines end-to-end.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across distributed teams.
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools in QA automation to improve efficiency, coverage, or problem-solving.
• Experience working with offshore/onshore teams in a collaborative delivery model.
• Salesforce, Workday, or tax software testing experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor) and mocking tools (e.g., WireMock Cloud) is a plus.
