JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Reservoir Engineering Analyst works closely with all members of reservoir engineering team in assisting with general reservoir engineering duties, including but not limited to project economic evaluations, reserves bookings, business performance analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Coordinate the maintenance, updating, and organization of technical databases with members of engineering, geology, and data management teams• Build and maintain complex queries for use in a variety of engineering analyses• Update economic models for all wells within assigned district(s)• Generate and update first-pass production decline curves in ARIES for review by Reservoir Engineer• Quality control daily production volumes and pressures• Provide support in the analysis and reporting of assets within assigned district(s), including developing summary reports, charts, presentations, etc.• Review historical well files and upload necessary data into appropriate databases• Mentor less experienced members of engineering team• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all personnel involved in resource development processes• Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations with limited data/ information

• Proficiency in reservoir engineering and pattern management practices such as unconventional development planning, type curve generation, and performance forecasting

• Understanding of oil and gas finance in relation to reserves and economics

• Highly organized with attention to detail• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tolerance for a high volume of time sensitive transactions• Ability to multitask• Good attitude with effective communication skills• Team player with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships• Flexibility to grow and expand knowledge base according to company needs• Ability to travel as needed in and out of state with some overnight stays necessary• Ability to manage multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or science-related field• 10+ years of industry experience, preferably in unconventional shale analysis• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work with a multidisciplinary team

• Experience with MS Office and ARIES required

• Experience with Enersight and Spotfire preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• The ability to use a computer or phone for extended periods of time• Basic use of office equipment such as copier and fax machines• Ability to lift 10 pounds occasionally• Ability to concentrate• Ability to sit for long periods of time

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, iPads and iPhones. Travel to field offices usually reflects similar office environment; however, occasional trips to well locations may involve exposure to equipment, dust, noise, debris, and varying weather conditions.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time salaried position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., but can vary due to workload/needs of the company. This position requires an individual who can answer emergency calls at any time. This employee must be available to come to work during off-hours and/or weekends to address emergency conditions or other situations that may arise

TRAVEL:

This job requires occasional travel both in and out of state.
